Pack Tax was founded in 2018 by Kristy Pack with one goal in mind: create a better tax experience—one that puts people first. After working in a large CPA firm, Kristy saw how impersonal and inaccessible the tax industry had become. Armed with a degree in Accounting from BYU and an MBA from the University of Utah, she built Pack Tax around clarity, accessibility, and genuine care.

Today, Pack Tax is trusted by individuals and businesses across growing communities for reliable, expert tax preparation delivered with empathy and integrity. Operator of Pack Tax Layton

Laurie Solomon

Laurie is the operator (and an owner) of Pack Tax Layton. She has over 25 years of experience in accounting. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Business Administration. She is currently pursuing her Master of Taxation at Weber State University and working toward her certification as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Following her graduation from WSU, Laurie will sit the CPA examinations. As a tenacious advocate for her clients, Laurie’s goal is for her clients to leave her office knowing more about taxes than they did (or perhaps even more than they want to). Her strict attention to detail, organizational skills, and obvious nerdiness are tempered by her bubbly personality and sense of humor.
